The Signia Pure Charge&Go 5AX is the premium performance model built on Signia’s newest technology platform. The Augmented Xperience platform, or AX for short – is Signia’s smallest rechargeable RIC. It is also the first developed for use with two sound processors – one of which is optimized for speech and the other for everything else. Speech sounds from one processor are augmented to stand out from the output of the other.

The overall result for most wearers is a more relaxed listening experience with a significant gain in speech comprehension, especially in noise. User reviews as well as those from hearing healthcare professionals indicate that AX hearing aids deliver a significantly improved performance over the previous X-platform models.

The sleek new Signia Receiver-In-Canal hearing aid fits behind-the-ear with a bundle of hair-like wires that are plastic–coated and go into the ear canal. The wires are connected to a tiny receiver, or speaker, encased in the same coating and fits snuggly in the ear canal. Available in three levels:

Charge&Go AX models use a Li-ion power cell capable of storing enough energy on a full charge for 24 hours of use including 5 hours of streaming. They are offered with a choice of three optional chargers:

  • Pure Charger – a small desktop model that can be plugged into a USB port
  • Pure Portable Charger – combines a battery pack with a carrying case that’s good for three full charges
  • Pure Dry&Clean – uses ultraviolet light technology to clean and dry the hearing aids during the charging process

Signia Pure Charge&Go AX series continues a “made-for-iPhone” tradition of technological excellence with advanced features like Own Voice Processing, automatic adaptive directionality, SpeechFocus, Tinnitus Management and the Signia App for adjustments via your smartphone.

Signia Pure Charge&Go 5AX also includes important features like an HD Music program and the ability to receive TeleCare (i.e, remote fine-tuning of your hearing aids by a hearing specialist). The 5AX gives you high-fidelity speech discernment with true aid-to-aid communication for better awareness of your surroundings.
